Charles Cocotas lives and resides on Cape Cod where he has owned a home since 1983. He grew up in Boston and graduated from Northeastern University in 1960 following his service in the U.S Navy. In the years following his graduation from Northeastern, he served with several food service companies including management positions as President and Chief Executive Officer.

Charlie started oil painting when he retired some fifteen years ago. He became a member of the Cape Cod Art Association in Barnstable and studied with local artists such as Arnold Desmarais, Gordon Jones and Richard Muccini. He contributes his work to several different charity organizations on the Cape.
